Nevermind
Nevermind’s moniker is one of the warmest spots in downtown Cape Coral and the brainchild of unbeaten Southwest Florida, Nevermind is a small place, so it loads up fast. Good thing area has expanded next door to join an Irish themed bar, along with lots of outdoor seats in the front and the back. Enthusiasts come here looking for great bites, specialty cocktails prepared with fresh elements, fun, and lively team. For a refreshing cocktail try the white sangria made with Citrus vodka, St. Germaine, Sauvignon Blanc, and fresh fruit.

Society
At approximately 15,000 square feet, Society is a large open area with a great vibe. You’ll get several bars, both indoor and outdoor, with a 360-degree video wall arrangement in the dining room. While much attention has been provided to the cocktail and dining program, it’s the fun that seems to be running the spot with locals. You’ll get solo performances downstairs for a happy hour and DJ’s later in the evening. The rooftop Treehouse Bar is where the maximum of the activity is found. The shots up here are Tiki exciting, and there is an herb garden for fresh toppings. The stage entertains live bands, and DJ’s, various of whom have a nationwide following. On this nighttime, it’s a mass crowd.

The Buddha Nightclub
This ancient Chinese establishment has morphed into one of the most notorious local bars in the Fort Myers area. You’ll know you are in the best place by the giant statue of Buddha, resting in the parking lot. A couple of items you can be assured of in this bar, the cocktails are cold and cheap, and the music is full. Local bands like to rock here as well as those on the driving circuit. There’s something on the small dance floor of the Buddha that starts people get a little mad. It’s not surprising to see partygoers covered in jeans and a T, jumping about next to someone in a polo or even in regular attire. Everyone is greeted at the Buddha.
